​Installed next to a playground and a basketball court, Changing Gears engages various audiences with its historical, environmental and playful components.  The stylized pitcher and barrel, with their water flow, recall the site’s past as a brewery.  The gears reflect the watchmaking shops of the neighborhood’s recent past. Computer chip panels are the future.
