Ulrich’ design was chosen as the focal point sculpture for the Community Garden at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington, just south of Seattle.
Both the community and the hospital selection committee agreed this stainless steel sculpture with the large bronze ring created the appearance of strength and connectedness they were searching for.
The work has become a contemporary symbol for the interconnections of the staff, patients and family that lead to healing.
