Echo was built  as a model or maquette of a monumental arch 25-feet tall with a small pool of water at the base. Originally designed for the entryway of an upscale shopping district, the Echo is fabricated from stainless steel and bronze with patina applied to the bronze, The verdegris color develops more quickly this way without going through the ugly duckling stage of natural environmental patinas. The original maquette measured 25”w x 25”d x 30”h, an inch to the foot of the proposed arch.
